SMS Terms (Alta text messaging program)

This page describes the SMS program operated by Apex Aspire LLC d/b/a Alta ("Alta", "we", "us") at https://getalta.ai.

Who sends the messages
Alta by Apex Aspire LLC d/b/a Alta sends the messages. When a local service business uses Alta as its AI front desk, messages are identified with that business's name and are sent from the number provisioned for that business.
What messages we send
Informational messages only. Typical messages include:
- Missed-call text-backs after a customer calls and no one answers
- Appointment and booking confirmations
- Appointment and booking reminders
- Replies to customer inquiries (SMS, web, or voice that continues over text)
We do not use this program to send unrelated marketing blasts.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. You may receive a text when you call and we miss it, when a visit is booked or changed, when a reminder is due, or when you write in and we reply. There is no fixed messages-per-month quota.

Mobile numbers and consent are not sold
Mobile numbers and opt-in consent are not shared or sold to third parties for marketing.
We use numbers and consent records to send the messages described above, to honor STOP, and to operate the Service with subprocessors such as Twilio (the SMS carrier gateway). That is not a sale or a share of opt-in consent for third-party marketing.
How you opt in
You can agree to SMS by:
- Checking the optional, unchecked SMS consent box on a getalta.ai form that collects a phone number (including https://getalta.ai, https://getalta.ai/plumbers, https://getalta.ai/hvac, and https://getalta.ai/cleaning). Consent is not required to submit the form.
- Texting the business number.
Consent is recorded in Alta's first-party SMS consent ledger.
